"Everyone is an artist of some sort, some of us just need a little creative push." - Ashley Nicole Daramola

At an early age, she found an outlet in the arts. Visual art, theatre, dance and music became the channels through which she processed the things she experienced. In second grade, her principal, called her out of class and into his office. He and the school’s art teacher, were there and they were the first individuals to tell her she had a gift and that she should never let anyone talk her out of using it.
Ashley was always known as “the girl who could draw” but upon entering college, most of the people in her life told her that art was only a hobby, so she took her career in a different direction. In her mid 20s, she found that she had a strong ability to communicate with, inspire, and mentor teenage girls who had experienced trauma and who had difficulty understanding their self-worth. She obtained a Master’s degree in Child Developmental Psychology and worked as a Mental Health Professional and Social Worker for seven years for the State of Georgia and for local nonprofits that provided services for survivors of domestic sex trafficking.
Ashley became an expert on the issue of human trafficking speaking to teens, youth servicing organizations, and even local television about creative tools that could be used to help prevent girls from being exposed. In 2014, Ashley realized art was missing from her life. She began making hand-painted crafts and specialty gifts under the alias, ArtzyBella. Then in 2016, after selling out of her experimental crafts and art pieces, she left her work in mental health and within months became a fulltime commissioned artist creating wall murals for local businesses and individuals adding beautiful art to plain spaces through ArtzyBella, LLC.
ArtzyBella is dedicated to showing people how art ignites creativity. Ashley wants customers to be able to use art making, art classes, paint parties, and her handmade products to relieve stress and feel inspired to take on life bravely and creatively. In ArtzyBella’s studio, Ashley uses her background in Mental Health and Digital Design to create services, products, and classes that truly innovate the accessibility of art for everyday individuals.
Ashley also desires to be an example for young women everywhere, inspiring them to never delay finding their worth and purpose, and not seeing the arts as just a hobby, but as a viable career as long as they learn and understand business, finances, and strategic problem solving. She wants women to know they are powerful just because they love themselves and they should love themselves enough to take big calculated risks. If no one else ever believes in their dreams, them believing in themselves is more than enough.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][edgtf_button size=”” type=”solid” target=”_self” icon_pack=”” font_weight=”” text=”Art Portfolio” link=”https://www.artzybella.com/ashleynicole”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][edgtf_button size=”” type=”solid” target=”_blank” icon_pack=”” font_weight=”” text=”CV” link=”https://www.artzybella.com/ashleynicole-cv”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][edgtf_button size=”” type=”solid” target=”_self” icon_pack=”” font_weight=”” text=”Research” link=”https://www.artzybella.com/ashleynicole-research”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][edgtf_button size=”” type=”solid” target=”_self” icon_pack=”” font_weight=”” text=”Speaker Requests” link=”https://www.artzybella.com/ashleynicole-speaking”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
