ArtzyBella’s Teacher’s Aide Program was inspired by Ashley Nicole’s upbringing, attending schools that did not have the best access to create arts resources or supplies. This program’s goal is to infuse art and creative projects with academic curriculums and taught by teachers from a variety of grades. Individuals may donate through a year-round drive for quality art supplies to be used in the classroom or by agreeing to sponsor all the supplies for a classroom.
Ashley worked with kids throughout her career in Social Services and saw first hands time when using art for trauma processing, creative critical thinking, and innovative approaches to learning leaves children healthier, more eager, and more successfully academically overall.

STEAM

Our team comes from backgrounds with emphasis in science, math, and problem-solving, making the move of STEM to STEAM (adding Art/Design) a monumental milestone for students around the country. STEAM is a movement championed by Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and widely adopted by institutions, corporations, and individuals.
According to StemtoSteam.org, the objectives of the STEAM movement are to transform research policy to place Art + Design at the center of STEM, encourage integration of Art + Design in K–20 education, and influence employers to hire artists and designers to drive innovation.

Benefits for Educators

New teacher recruits are invited as special guests at our quarterly mixer for Educators, Art Enthusiasts, and School/City officials held to highlight the creative achievements and personal brands of our teachers. Each student in their classroom receives an art supply box filled with everything they need to create the art projects, and their classroom will receive one free trip to the ArtzyBella studios in one calendar year with a free art activity included!
